The Wrinkle

note: this is written primarily as a tribute to a marvelous nose, secondarily its mocking my brother’s poetry.

O, your cute little sniffer,
Peacefully unaware of its potential, it rests;
A more graceful curve never graced a goddess’ face.
I look on you and struggle to elucidate
The beauty you’ve been given.
With mere words I try; you blush and shut your eyes;
Your nose twitches…
It wrinkles!
I melt; as your beauty overwhelms me.
Then it’s done. Adorable, it retreats from your lovely eyes,
Returning to it’s seamless pedestal of beauty.
