There was a boy, a youngest child;
And O, the kid’s poor plight.
No matter how he grew or learned
His brothers won each fight.

One happy day he up and found,
A fact he knew would trick them,
So up he sprang and told the two;
But they would not believe him.

The kid was thrilled, he knew the truth!
He stood through every querry;
His brothers, sure they were not wrong,
Both dove for the dictionary.

The pages flipped at lightning speed,
They stopped; he saw; he’d won the fight!
The brothers turned, they winked and said;
“See? Told ya we were right.”
